FT 460

These are it ! The exact motor mount used in my 1977 F100 pre-runner. I just want you to know that I run what I sell. Stock mounts just won't hold up under my lead foot with 480 ft lbs. of torque on tap ! On the black pre-runner I even built another engine mount off the top of the bell-housing using a bushing assembly to the firewall roll cage structure. The last mount is at the tail-housing of the transmission. Here I made a cross-member from 4130 between the radius arm pivot brackets and then fabricated a transmission mount using a bushing assembly FTM600.

Our FT460 mount is very popular selling because a lot of folks are replacing the outdated and expensive to rebuild 390 type engines. The 460 came in 1977 to 79 trucks so if you are lucky you could get factory frame brackets from a wrecking yard but they are getting difficult to obtain. New brackets and mounts from Ford, were $375 and are not available anymore.

Now take a close look at the quality of our racing motor mounts and I'm sure you will agree that for $260 bucks we are offering you an excellent value. Autofab motor mounts are virtually indestructible and will last a long time. The motor plates are flame cut from 1/4" steel and the rest of the mount is made from 3/16. The through bolt is a 9/16" with a nilox nut.

FT 302

These mounts will fit FE style big block engines , 352 , 360 , 390 , 427 and 428. Bolt in replacements fit all 1965 to 1979 Ford 2wd truck frames. $260 pair
