these mounts in their Broncos for rough service. It saved them time and money on repairs

FT300N 6cylinder motor

Yes the Ford 6 cyl. 300 cubic inch
motor will tear up stock motor mounts. Most people take the 6 for granted but
they are a torque motor. "NOTE" if your truck comes with the Ford HYDRO mount ,
which is an oil filled motor mount you will have to change your frame brackets.
These mounts are distinct in design. They are about 4 inches round and 2 inches
thick. They are mounted flat instead of on an angle like conventional motor
mounts. If you have these style of mounts you must change the frame brackets
from a truck with a 6 cylinder engine and regular style motor mounts. Any year
from 1980 to 96 and all F150, F250 and F350 frames will use the same frame
brackets.
