1967 to 1979 Ford 4wd trucks installing 429/460 big block engines

I started with a 1979 F350 4wd truck that I personally owned that had a big block in it. When I bought it the 460 was in it so I never paid much attention to the motor mounts until I felt it thumping under a load. One side of the motor mounts had come apart and that motor would jump up and almost hit the hood! That is when I realized the problem. What was in there was cobbled together because those years of trucks were not offered with the 460 engines. No telling what he used I couldn't get anyone to tell me what they were. With the stock Ford frame stands and the 460 in place there isn't much room for a motor mount. That led me to design a new frame bracket altogether. This paved the way for Autofab 460 conversion mounts for the early 4wd trucks. All of the motor mounts shown are priced at $330 including frame brackets. The transmission mount is $150.

1977 to 79 F250/350 4wd motor mounts 460 engine FTX460A $330. These mounts are for trucks that came originally equipped with a "M" motor. Also this is the first year of the reversed pinion front ends and transfer cases bolted directly to the transmission. If you have the earlier series of 1977 truck you will have a 390FE style motor and a divorced transfer case. Use the FTX460C for those years back to 1968.
