Cone Ball Joints

If you are going to build an A-arm truck for offroad you have to be thinking of ball joints and how much angularity they will take and, will they hold up OK for blasting down a dirt road or no road whatever? These ball joints solve that problem. They are not cheap by any means but what price do you pay for performance ? Considering how they are made and what they are made of it's not to much to ask for at  $385.00 apiece. Check them out !

Massive 1/4" thick chrome moly housing machined to exacting tolerances then heat treated for durability. Ball is made from heat treated chrome moly and finish ground to exacting tolerances. The taper is the large Chrysler truck (the biggest in the trucks) . The threads are rolled on for maximum strength complete with a   high strength castle nut and cotter pin. A machined Delrin bushing that can be shimmed for longer life buts up against a nicely finished steel top and the whole assembly is protected by a simple rubber boot. Cone ball joints have a full 90 degrees of angularity. Check out your stock ones see if they come close !

Hope you like the close up shot for detail. This unit is truly a work of art. If you are a machinist you'll appreciate the amount of work in one of these parts. If you are a fabricator you know 90 degrees of travel gives you more wheel travel !
