The Autofab Spare Parts Truck races the 2016 Norra Mexican 1000

A few years ago John Ehmke, owner of Autofab, started working on a project: a 1975 Ford F-100 truck built from spare parts. The result: a truck built to last!

This year, John along with driving partners and long-time friends Rick Bagwell and Don Moss made it to 2nd place in Votrl (Vintage Open Truck with Rear Leaf Springs) category! This is proof that working hard and being constant pays off.

There’s a story behind every track, but the Autofab Spare Parts Truck, with a 75 F100 running 532 ci 460 stroker engine, C6 transmission by John Wood, and Dana 60 Full Floater by Sandy Cone is becoming a legend! This is the same truck that got a cover feature in Off-Road Magazine.

“We are all back safe and sound after racing the Autofab spare parts truck in the 2016 Norra Mexican 1000 off-road race” Rick Bagwell.
