1965 – 1979 Ford 2 Wheel Drive Truck Equal Length Tie Rod Steering System

Description

For 1965-79 Ford 2wd Trucks an equal length tie rod steering system that eliminates the bump steer problems of the typical Y Ford steering. Highly reconstructed pitman arm that drives the right wheel and the idler arm assembly located on the right frame rail cross member corner. The idler arm drives the left wheel allowing the tie rods to be the same. Cornering and overall handling greatly improved. Tie rods are 1.25 4130 chrome-moly steel tubes, welded threaded bungs with flats milled for a wrench. Connecting ends are 3/4 inch alloy rod ends with all the necessary hardware including high angle spacers and grade 8 bolts. Much attention to detail with pitman and idler construction. Kit includes necessary work on your spindle steering arms. Must have stock pitman arm exchange.
