1973 – 1979 Ford Truck Fiberglass Drop center hood

Fits 1973 to 1979 Ford Truck F100, F150, F250 and F350. Unique off-road Look offers better close-up vision to terrain in front of the truck. The top lip of the radiator support must be trimmed. Super Cool radiator will not fit. Price is for Race style lift-off mounting. For the hinge panel please allow $300 extra. Must use Hood pins in front for hinge mount hoods. No provision for a stock hood latch. Hinge panels reinforce the hood as well. When calling your order in please be sure to ask for the hinge panel If you wish to use the stock hinges. Note: the stock spring will need to be removed as it is way too heavy, Use a one inch diameter spring found in hardware stores and cut to fit. Or if you are very talented a set of hood shocks from an import car can be made to adapt.
